Not Everyone Deserves This Look

Not Everyone Deserves This Look

You might want to skip this if you’re into minimalism.

But look what I found on the internet.

While searching for Hari Raya inspiration last year, I came across some amazing pieces that can be worn as hijab accessories.

Look at these — aren’t they amazing?

All Photos are from  Pinterest Source

These are statement pieces.
Pieces you wear when you want to embrace your glamorous side.
And I know some of you have that in you.

With just a little confidence, I’m sure you’ll catch yourself thinking,
“Hey… this actually looks so beautiful.”

The best part?
You can wear them with your normal plain shawl or square scarf.

So tell me —
would you dare to wear this on Raya?
Are you a statement-making kind of person?

And for those who might think, “Isn’t this a bit too much?”
Let me tell you something.

I come from an Arab cultural background.
And on the first day of Hari Raya, when we duduk together with family, my Arab side dresses as if we’re attending the Oscars.

Full looks.
Details matter.
Everyone shows up.

Not because we’re trying too hard —
but because celebration is part of who we are.

We dress up, sit together, laugh, talk for hours, and enjoy Hari Raya dishes while admiring each other’s outfits. It’s fun. It’s expressive. It’s joyful.

So no — it’s not “too much.”
It’s part of the celebration.

If you’re spending Raya chatting with your sisters, cousins, and family, why not add a little sparkle? A little drama? A little fun?

That’s what these statement hijab accessories are for.
Not to impress strangers —
but to enjoy the moment with your people.

Because Raya is not just about visiting houses.
It’s about memories, laughter, and feeling good in your own skin.

And sometimes, a little extra…
is exactly what makes it special ✨

Hope you loved my first piece of writing.
Sorry for skipping a longer introduction this time.

Just a little fun fact — I read two very cringe novels back in high school, and somehow… here we are.

Till the next writing 🤍

Love, Eyqa
